” What a great honor to be receiving this scholarship. I’m truly blessed to have the opportunity to go to school at Carrington College Boise, and to know that my many tirelessness days and nights are paying off! Thank you to all the donors who made this scholarship possible; know that I will continue to work hard and pay it forward!”

Brooke Johnson
Carrington College Scholarship

“I am proud and grateful to have been chosen as a DeVry Education Group Scholarship Fund recipient.  I feel that my dedication to my degree and future career, as well as my strive to make a positive impact on both my school and local communities has been recognized and appreciated.  Receiving these funds has allowed me to cover the costs of a Belize Wildlife Medicine and Conservation Course that I recently participated in, that enabled me to gain hands-on experience with and further my knowledge of the wildlife species in which I intend to work with as a future veterinarian.”

Laura Haider, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Recipient
Expected Graduation:  May 2018

“I am truly honored and blessed to be one of the recipients of the DeVry University Scholarship. Thank you for the generous support, to me and my family this means the world, as I am the first in my family to attend college. Growing up in a less privileged community has not only offered financial and academic challenges, but has also helped me realize the value of a college education. Thanks to scholarship funds like this, I am able to make my goal a reality, to attend a reputable University, and reach my end goal, my degree. People always say, opportunities are around the corner, and I found my opportunity for a better future at DeVry University. Thank you DeVry!”

On Friday, March 24, over 140 college students and staff from more than 12 universities in the Ohio area gathered for Microsoft’s Student Minority Day.    There were more than 50 sessions from approximately 50 presenters from Microsoft, Microsoft Retail, Microsoft Partners, and Columbus based recruiting agencies, Robert Half Recruiting and TekSystems.

Microsoft gave away a Surface 3 device. In order to win the Surface 3, students had to post on Twitter or Instagram with the #columbusmsd2017 and/or @columbusmsd2016 (Twitter), @columbusmsd2017 (Instagram). This lead to more than 1,000 posts between Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn related to the event.  The Microsoft Minority Student Day will make a donation of approximately $1,400 to The DeVry University Scholarship Fund.
