I was overjoyed to learn of my selection for this honor and am deeply appreciative of your support.  I am now in my senior year as a BSN Nursing major.  I hope to become an excellent ICU nurse upon graduating from Chamberlain University.  Receiving this gift will allow me to concentrate more of my time on studying.  Thank you again for your support and generosity!

I'm beyond thankful that I have been selected to receive this scholarship.  This has helped me out tremendously financially and relieved a lot of my stress when it comes to tuition.  I have been working as a medical assistant for about 8 years.  Working around nurses and doctors every day has inspired me to further my education and advance my career.  I can't thank you all enough!

Wow!  I first want to say I am honored.  This is truly a blessing for my family and me.  I currently work 2 part-time jobs to help pay for school, and it definitely hasn't been easy.  I would like to dedicate these awards to my dad who recently lost his battle to stage 4 glioblastoma.  He was my inspiration and motivation to keep pursuing my nursing journey.  These will positively impact my education in so many ways, and I hope to give back to future nursing students just as you have.

I am honored to receive this special award.  This scholarship gives me an opportunity to pursue the career of my dreams.  It provides a sense of relief financially and mentally.  Going into my last semester of nursing school, this will help me on focusing on studying more.  I hope that one day I can help others in reaching their goals, just as you have helped me.

I chose this career path because I was in and out of hospitals for my family members.  I saw how the nurses and staff treated my family and myself.  This gave me the motivation to continue my dreams of becoming a nurse and going back to school.  This is my first time receiving a scholarship.  This gave me so much hope, happiness and I never felt so honored.

Thank you is not enough for the kindness and support you give to people.  I cried as I received the email because I am very honored to be the recipient of this award.  Thank you for not only helping to relieve some of the tuition stress but also believing in students.  I have only two classes left to take, and I will be finished.  You have helped me to maintain my GPA and I am now on the Dean's list.  I look forward to educating and giving back to a student one day.

I feel as if nursing is my life's purpose to help my fellow brothers and sisters!  As a nurse I have the ability to touch others while in their most vulnerable state and help heal them mentally and physically as I would want to be treated.  This award has come just in time!  I am currently struggling with recent adjustments in my life that have caused financial hardships.  This award is a blessing and reminder for me to hold on and stay hopeful!

Nursing has been a career I have dreamed of since childhood.  I know I am on the right path as my passion is caring for those who need support.  Now that I am at the end of my journey to completing the BSN program, I cannot be happier.  I am so grateful for being considered and chosen to receive this award.  It is individuals like you that give the chance for students like me to be given that extra push needed toward their life goal and career.

This award is accepted with the most gratitude.  Being a single mother, tuition costs can put a tight hold on my income.  This award allows me to continue my classes without the burden of having to work so many extra overtime shifts.  This allows for more study time, as well as more time home with my children.

Thank you Heartland Veterinary Partners for being so gracious to award me this scholarship.  Getting this award means so much to me and my education.  Having one less thing to worry about while in school is extremely impactful to my mental health and ultimately my success while in this program.  This helps me to be one step closer to being the best doctor I can be.  Thank you!

I'm very thankful to the Dr. Lanse T. Fox Memorial Organization and the Empower Scholarship Fund for this award.  The theme of this scholarship focuses on how we, as future vets can be leaders in our community, beyond our career aspirations.  This resonated with me and I'm excited to represent veterinary professionals both in and out of the hospital once I graduate.  Dr. Fox was a fellow Rossie who dedicated his life to helping animals and ameliorating his community, and I hope to honor his legacy throughout my career.

I am honored to be receiving this award.  Not only does it help with some of the added costs that come with going to school on an island far from home, but it shows the hard work and efforts I have put in are viewed as potential for the future of veterinary medicine.  After exposure to shelter work with my grandma at a young age, I always knew I wanted to work in veterinary medicine in some capacity.  My goals after graduation line up with the exposure I had growing up and I hope to someday improve the accessibility to animal care to underserved populations that need it.

While our passion to become a veterinarian takes us incredibly far, we must still rely on every bit of help we can get to take us to the finish line, so I appreciate this scholarship very much.  I grew up in and around the business of veterinary hospitals and pet stores, so to become a vet was a natural progression for me.  While there are other careers that allow one to study business, science, and share wisdom and compassion, none of them allow me to combine them all like a career as a veterinarian does.

Receiving this award will have a great impact on not only my current goals to graduate with as little debt as I can, but also my future goals of owning multiple clinics.  I chose to enter Veterinary Medicine due to my background as a Texas farm kid growing up.  I have always loved animals and wanted to care for them further.  I believe in being a steward of not only the animals but of the land we raise them on so that the next generation will have the same opportunities as us.

It is an honor to receive the Dr. Arlene Rodriguez Veterinary Scholarship.  Receiving this award has given me profound confidence and determination that I will use throughout my final year of veterinary school.  I am relieved that my financial burden has been reduced and encouraged to continue applying myself.  I look forward to giving back to my community upon graduation and am excited to be in a position to help others as this scholarship has helped me.

Being selected for this award feels unreal.  These funds will change the course of my experience in veterinary school, reducing my massive financial burden.  This will allow me to breathe a sigh of relief as I continue my DVM/MSc here at Ross University in pursuit of my long-term goal of board certification in small animal surgery.  This award grants me the ability to spend less time working, and more time in the library becoming the best veterinarian I can be.  Thank you so much to Dr. Coyne for his continued generous support of students such as myself!

I am speechless and cannot thank you enough for bestowing this honor onto me.  It means the world to me, knowing that I will be able to continue in my veterinary career and have less worry about finances in school.  I always knew I wanted to be an "animal doctor" and help animals.  My long-term goal is to open my own practice and combine my two interests: general practice and cardiology.

Receiving this award means a lot.  Being a Canadian at an American school, the financial burden weighs heavy on myself and my family.  This scholarship allows me to alleviate some of that financial burden so I can focus on being the best vet I can be.

Thank you so much for your generosity.  I am very close to graduating, but due to financial hardship I have had to put courses aside until I was able to save for the next term.  This scholarship will allow me to continue my education without having to pause for a term.  I am pursuing my Bachelor's in Human Services because I have always had the passion to serve those who are in vulnerable situations.

Thank you for creating a breath of fresh air for my family financially.  This scholarship comes at a time when my family and I are going through so much.  We lost my mother-in-law and are working with my toddler and her stroke recovery.  I decided to enter my field to help people, and as cliche as it may sound, I want to help people understand that mental health is real, they're not alone, and that it's truly okay to seek help.  I'm nearing the end of my journey as a graduate student and begin fieldwork this spring.  Thank you for helping me move one step closer to my goal.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for selecting me out of the multitude of candidates.  It means a breath of fresh air to not worry about finances for this upcoming term, it means more cognitive space for my studies and my child.  I chose to purse a career in social work because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of families with young parents.  To help equip them with the resources that will help them overcome their circumstances and surpass the statistics.  Thank you for blessing me with this scholarship!

I am so very thankful and grateful to have received this scholarship.  Receiving this helps so much during a time when attending school can be an added expense not easily afforded.  I hope to work with children in a clinical counseling setting.  I also hope to work with adults and young adults that are dealing with addiction or mental health issues.  I want to be part of the recovery process and make a difference in the lives of individuals and communities.

Graduate studies have proven expensive, especially on a civil servant's salary.  This award will contribute significantly to my tuition and alleviate some of the financial pressure as I strive to complete graduate studies.  I have been interested in psychology and counseling and the well-being of others since I was a child.  With a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling - Marriage, Couple & Family Counseling, I can provide specialized counseling to help the backbone of society - the family.
