Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Recipients
I am sincerely privileged to have been selected as the recipient of the Empower Scholarship Fund. Thank you for your kindness, which will allow me to continue my education and become a nurse.
Thank you for selecting me for the Chamberlain Equality in Education Scholarship. It is such an honor and blessing to be among one of the first to receive this award from Chamberlain. As a black woman, it means a lot to know my school and future alma mater is investing in the education for African American students who will one day become leaders in the health care field. By receiving this scholarship, my financial burdens have been decreased drastically. I am currently in my last session at Chamberlain and I honestly did not know how I was going to be able to afford it, yet alone complete my last session. Now I will be able to focus on my studies and passing the NCLEX. With your contributions, I now have the opportunity of fulfilling my dreams of becoming a nurse and touching so many lives in a positive way. I plan to continue my positive attributes by showing others to never to give up on their dreams and paying it forward to future nursing students, especially those of different ethnicities. I understand the struggle and if I can lessen the burden for one student at a time, I know that I am making a difference for not only that future nurse but for our clients and our profession as well. Again, thank you for selecting me as a recipient.
Words can’t express how excited I am to be an Empower Scholar. This is my first scholarship I have been awarded and I am more than grateful. With this scholarship, I will be able to keep pursing my education goals and be one step closer to my goal of becoming a CRNA. While I attend Chamberlain, I have a prn position at my local hospital to help pay for my tuition. It’s not always easy to juggle school, work and being a single parent, and I am truly grateful for the assistance that I am receiving because of your thoughtful gift. When I graduate, I plan to use what I have learned at Chamberlain to make a difference in people’s lives, the same way that you have made a difference in mine. Thank you again for the generous contribution which made my scholarship possible.
I am writing to thank you for your generous Empower scholarship. I was very excited and appreciative to learn that I was selected as a recipient. By awarding me the Empower scholarship, you have lightened my financial burden which allows me to focus more on the most important aspect of school, learning. Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to my community. I am able to continue moving forward with pursuing my passion and purpose in nursing.
My heart is full. I am eternally grateful for receiving this prestigious scholarship and I have to be honest, this award has completely made me emotional. Coming from a family where I will become a first-generation college graduate shows me that life has its flowers. We just have to make it bloom through our hard work and perseverance. I will continue to work hard in school and inspire young women that they can be whatever they are destined to be and keep encouraging others to find their light in this world. I am so thankful for being a recipient. In life, I have experienced my highs and lows and went through a lot of things
but persevered through them and instead of those things being a hindrance, it became my motivation. Giving me this award has shown me three things; To keep believing, to keep reaching, and to keep going.Thank you so much for this award.

Thank you for selecting me as the 2020 recipient of the Pet Experts Veterinary Scholarship! With tough times due to COVID I am so happy to have received a scholarship! Being a 3rd semester student, the beginning of my veterinary journey started with an abrupt departure from St. Kitts due to the pandemic. I am grateful to continue to be on track for my DVM and have some financial relief. Thank you again for your generality and support of my journey to becoming a DVM.
I am truly honored to have been chosen to receive this award. With this amazing opportunity I will be able to access previously unattainable resources to now better myself as a student, and above all, better myself as a doctor.

The Kremer Veterinary Scholarship
Thank you so much for choosing to award me one of the Kremer Veterinary Services Scholarships. This particular scholarship means a lot to me because I have family in both Chicago and Ohio. Dr. Kremer and community, I would like you all to know that as a veterinary student, the work your community does inspires me and I am proud to have been chosen as worthy to represent Kremer Veterinary Services through this award. I will be forever grateful for the generous contribution towards my education. This contribution will help me on my mission to be the best veterinarian I can be!

I very much appreciate being selected as the recipient of this award. I’m a veterinary student who took on a large debt to acquire the skills to help society in the best way I knew how. This scholarship will help me offset the cost of tuition and alleviate the financial burden associated with higher education. I’ve always had a passion for small animal and equine medicine, and vet school has sparked my interest in public health & epidemiology, as well. I’m not sure where my career will take me but I’m very happy with the journey I’m on. Thank you again to the Howard Design Group for awarding me the scholarship. Dear Dr. Jeremy Buishas, Scholarships like yours are very important as they provide encouragement to veterinary students to continue their hard work and diligent studies as well as it enables veterinarians to enter the workforce with a reduced amount of debt. I am so appreciative and thankful to have been selected for receive the Dr. Jeremy Buishas Veterinary Scholarship. This scholarship will have a great impact as I continue my education in becoming a doctor of veterinary medicine! I am entering into my 5th semester at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and I aspire to eventually specialize in marine mammal medicine. I am hoping to match for a residency program soon after graduating with my DVM. My ultimate goal is to open my own mobile practice which would give me the ability to travel to different facilities. Your scholarship will truly allow me to maintain a better focus on my studies, as I have had to work while attending school in order to offset some of the tuition costs. I cannot express my gratitude enough for your support as I chase my dreams.
